b Series

The b Series pianos are Yamaha’s most affordable entry-level upright pianos. Although efficient production helps maintain costs, b Series pianos reflect the same materials and workmanship that define every Yamaha piano. Four sturdy wooden back posts and a strong cast iron frame endow these pianos with Yamaha’s pure, clear tone. High-grade hammers and Yamaha famous action design create a highly responsive keyboard especially attractive to beginning players. The b Series is available in a variety of sizes.

The b1 and b2 present a slender profile ideal for small spaces. But don’t let the studio size fool you. The sound is pure Yamaha.

The b3 is larger, with a deeper, richer sound similar to a grand piano. It’s an exceptional playing piano still in a reasonable price range.

Gallery Collection

Taking cues from classic 19th-century European design, the Gallery Collection pianos are as beautiful inside and they are at first glance. A richer, more resonant voice and evenly balanced timbre across the entire keyboard are the results of from hand-selected, solid spruce advanced soundboards and ribs.

All Gallery Collection pianos feature a full-perimeter frame that has been forged with Vacuum Shield Mold (V-Pro ) casting technology that’s stronger, lighter, and more durable. The patented Yamaha aluminum action rail adds to the keyboard’s resistance to fluctuations in humidity and temperature over time.

Yamaha’s cutting-edge research and wood-drying process have led to back posts that will maintain shape, strength, and resonance for the life of the piano and your musical adventures.
