Boston Piano, Polished Mahogany Model GP163 PM, 2003
Serial #146429
This 2003 Boston GP163 brings the celebrated Steinway-designed scale into a comfortably sized 5 feet 4 inches cabinet, delivering a nice, well-balanced tone across the entire register. Its bass speaks with surprising depth for its size, mids are clear and singing, and the treble retains a refined sparkle – versatile for classical, jazz, pop, and everything in between. Its touch feels lived in, yet fresh: broken-in enough to feel inviting and controllable, but crisp and responsive when you ask for speed, repetition, or dynamic nuance. Its polished mahogany furniture is in excellent condition, presenting a rich, elegant look that warms any room. A great choice for the player who wants a smaller grand without giving up the satisfying harmonic bloom associated with pianos of a larger size.
